This Syrah is a blend of 877 and Noir clones, and has been aged for 22 months in French oak. The grapes were sourced from a hillside vineyard that is located in the remote region of Fair Play, the appellation known for having the highest average elevation in California. Warm days and cool nights, coupled with decomposed granite soils, make the area ideally suited for growing Rhone varieties. 350 cases produced.
